specialized auctions

We are also licensed to handle sales of Restricted, Non-Restricted and Prohibited Firearms. Semi-Annual Auctions of these items are held in the Spring and Fall. Please forward any enquiries you may have to Richard Matthewman.

attending the auction

All goods are sold to the highest bidder on an as-is basis and should be inspected carefully prior to bidding.

A preview is available prior to the start of the auction. At such time, you are able to view and inspect any of the items to be auctioned. Please ask any questions you may have at this time, our auction floor staff will be available for assistance.

Items will be sold as designated and the sale usually progresses at the rate of 125 lots per hour. Purchases must be paid for prior to removal from the premises and are subject to the buyer's premium and tax that is applicable.

Remember, the Fair Market Value of an item is determined by the highest bid in a Public Auction.

Registration

In order to participate in the auction, you are required to register and obtain a bidding number. There is no fee for this, but we do require valid personal identification. We do strongly suggest that you familiarize yourself with the conditions of sale printed on the reverse of your bidding card.

Absentee bids

In the event that you are not able to attend the auction in person, absentee bids are accepted, as conditions permit.

buyer's premium

A 15% Buyer's Premium will be applied to all goods and will be subject to any tax that is applicable. Please keep this in mind when bidding on an item.

We welcome you to visit our auctions and familiarize yourself with the auction process. We would point out that as all items are sold on an "as-is" basis, we encourage you to become an informed buyer. It is recommended that you attend the preview, inspect the articles and ask any questions that you might have.
