appraisals
May be arranged for the valuation of your goods,
by the auctioneer, in the form of a verbal or written formal appraisal.
Fees will be applied on an hourly or predetermined basis, to be
discussed beforehand with the appraiser. Whether the appraisal is done
on our auction premises or at your residence, we will provide you with
an accurate, concise and professional appraisal that best suits your
needs.
consignments
Items are taken in for auction on a consignment
basis. The goods are entrusted to Richards Auctioneers & Valuers
Ltd. by the customer, and the agreement is made to sell your items,
on your behalf, through auction. We are pleased to accept goods for
consignment during office hours, however,
please call to arrange for an appointment.
Our commission for selling your goods is
determined by the value of the individual articles. Settlement to you
is normally made within seven days of the completion of the sale of your
goods.
In order to establish the best selling environment
for your goods, the date of sale will be determined by the auctioneer.
Our history with Trust and Estate executives as
well as private consignors has established Richards Auctioneers &
Valuers Ltd. as a reliable and exceptional auction company. Whether
you are concerned with a single item or a whole estate of goods, we
welcome and encourage your call.
additional services
Richards Auctioneers & Valuers Ltd. can
arrange any cartage required and also offers a complete service in the
disposal and clean-up of the contents of a property. Any cartage or
